SUCCESS MEANS WHAT???

Academically

-continued interest w/ ability (patience & discipline) to do unenjoyable but profitable task

-perform consistently upwards making connections and combining information in a fluid, whole way

-complete high school w/ all needed knowledge (documented) as to allow for options in further education

Spiritually

-to understand his relationship with God by listening, praying and “bearing fruit”

-to become comfortable sharing his faith

-consistent growth in knowledge of Scripture

-ability to relate knowledge to life- opportunities to use this knowledge

Career-wise

-college is important

-to get a foundation to have a career that is profitable to God (which includes himself and others as a direct result)

In Facts and Knowledge

-nurturing of subjects in which Christian has passion- to build knowledge and then find ways to share it

-to have opportunities to try a variety experiences and to discover new passions and interests

-learn how he learns, learn how to teach him

Inwardly

-to understand who he is in Christ- his passions & purpose

-to continually strive for Christlikeness through outward selflessness and kindness

-VIRTUES

Relationally

-lasting, trusting Godly relationships

-solid male relationships as a foundation

-adult mentors: John, Mark, Granddad and mentor in area of passion

-accepting and inviting of others

-makes successful choices for friends, discussion about why
